Work
You might remember half a year ago I was facing being outsourced at work. After eventually being switched to a different department with 2 others. I, of course, was the only 1 of the 3 given a temporary position; which ends around Christmas (Happy New Year!). Is there anything more frustrating than doing a better job than your co-workers (In terms of production output & other contributions for 4 years) yet they get the permanent positions & I get the temporary? & funnily enough who’s the person tasked with updating all the Word macros/menus for 3 departments before Christmas - me of course. 1 of my friends is working at an electronics company down in Cork & he’s noticed the same thing there; hard work does not pay off & you’ll inevitably end up doing as well as everyone else when it comes to your performance reviews (If your output is too high you’re inevitably not joining in with the team & vice versa).
Luckily I’ve had an interview at a different company last week which seems to fit much in line with my current skills (Updating financial info sourced from various websites) - hours are worse, pay is better - & I’m eagerly awaiting their reply (Which they said would be some day this week). Work long enough in companies like this & you’re bound to go either mad or completely numb.

Ouch… well, I really hope you get that new job. More satisfaction and better pay, plus you get to leave the current one which sounds like sh*t, or at least you’ve got shitty bosses.
