      Cool cool, gotta love the mk1. If it were me though I would drop a vr6 in it haha. You would be doing alot more work for the evo motor in a mk1. The evo motor is japanese and the golf is european, you would need custom motor mounts as well as alot of other things I won't get into here. You also have to remember that the mk1 golf is FWD and the evo is AWD. Your gonna get uneven power distribution unless you convert the golf to AWD. Just some things to think about.
