This PC started as a Pentium 4 with 512MB of RAM I had to upgrade around February 2009. I didn't had all the money to buy a new system inmediately so I had to upgrade part by part. I started with the PSU, I knew I was gonna Crossfire two Sapphire 4830's, so I went with an OCZ 750W. After that I needed to change the monitor for a 1080p screen. Then it was the case. Finally I went all out with the Phenom II X4 955, a 790FX board (I wanted to had the 4 Pci express x16 slots) and 4gigs of RAM. I'm happy now with my rig, maybe the next step will be liquid cooling, we'll see... PC Games, Hardware Three years later my PC still has the Phenom II X4 955, but now tagged along an XFX HD7950, 8Gigs of DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws, all connected to an ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX board.
