TechSpot Staff, 29, from Guayaquil, Ecuador
As a Business major I may not go as deep into computer hardware as some of my fellow editors, but I do love the thrill of a good multiplayer match and enjoy the latest in technology gadgets. I also enjoy fishing , diving, boards and the beach in general on the weekends. I'm married and have little baby boy who lights up my day (that's him on the left).
Current status: Just fixed Broadcom drivers. Broadcom changed their urls so you have to pass by their disclaimer first. Oct 16, 2012

Just last week Nvidia distributed a beta version of their Forceware drivers 260.89. The main feature was support for their recently launched GeForce GT 430, and although a few other improvements were mentioned there was nothing really outstanding. Google Chrome 8.0.552.0, Opera 10.63 released
In a spree that's increasingly difficult to keep up with, Google has launched a pre-release build of Chrome 8, which is pretty much a continuation of Chrome 7 with a few changes. The announcement made through the dev channel only mentions a "number of stability improvements and other changes." However, there are at least a couple interesting new features, such as hardware acceleration for HTML5 Canvas elements.
