Didn't want to do another reply on my post re Avira splash screen, but edited it by attaching a notepad I had written for my own info showing exactly what steps I took to make it work.

Hey kimsland. This is Sinh about the faulty monitor. Could it be away to fix it? or Faulty monitor have faulty once in a while? Because last night my brother got the faulty monitor to work again. Could there be some info i did not put that might be the cause of another situation u might have in mind? Or is there a way to purposely set a fault "faulty monitor". Maybe a way to fix?

Hi kimsland ... could not PM since less than 15 posts - so hope this gets thru - seo - search engine optimization - been doing it since 1999... and while I don't have Google's secrets the following is a good guideline....

To get the posts indexed it helps if they are in the xml sitemap on the site...not sure if you have a sitemap on techspot. Also if your posts are linked from other sites that are in Google that is more likely to get them indexed. Here are some important points...

      1) Make sure your important Keywords are in the heading of the post - because this becomes the TITLE tag on these forum pages - which on automated forums like this is usually the heading of the post.

      2) If another site with a good PageRank has mentioned your post on their site - it is seen by Google to have importance - e.g. your "how to remove trojans" post is linked from a computing.net page which has a PR of 1/10 - and since you search for "how to remove trojans" and these words are in the TITLE of your post Google is recognising it as good.

      3) Over 100 factors go into Google's algorithm and hits is likely one of them. I have seen one seo test which tested how a page ranked while they increased the traffic to it by getting their colleagues to visit a site over a period of a few weeks - but when they stopped visiting it dropped down again - the way to get hits of course is to have your page linked from other popular sites so people visit it - however my opinion is that hits come as a result of links on other sites so artificially hitting a site lots of times would not work.

Advice - If you have some posts that you want to get more visible then go on some other sites blogs about trojans or whatever topic and post your link to your article on them. You could try and post a new topic on Squidoo and another on Hubpages with links to your most important posts... if these get picked up by Google you will likely get a boost to your posts.

If you have more questions I am happy to email you rather than clutter your forum - my site is searchgap.com - contact form on it.

Point taken with repeating what somebody else had wrote, i was mearly emphasising the point and as for MBAM i thought i would clear up what MBAM actually meant for the concerned member as it wasnt wrote as Malwarebytes antimalware. And in my experience as an IT professional i often find making things as clear as possible for my customers produces the best results.
