Hey jacob! Yeah it has. I've been okay; been busy with studies.

Great! I have my HDTV running as my second monitor, and my LCD as the first. It's great, I missed having 2 desktops. Now I have a lot of CRT's laying around though. :P

Yeah, it was an odd game but fun, lol. Yeah, any processor with Core 2 architecture overclocks like a dream. Speaking of 720p, I am running my PC in 1080i right now. I got a free LCD from my uncle. :D So I'm running at a stellar resolution, but for some reason Linux doesn't like it. :(

I do sales for a company that does payroll and workers comp insurance. It's not bad and gives me enough time to hang around here in my spare time. I would do this over being in school anyday. But I guess everyone has to put their time in

Very awesome! I wish I could've overclocked my 4000+ like that, but it always has problems when the Hypertransport Speed (Essentially the BUS speed between the Memory Controller and CPU) Gets too high.

Cool! I managed to have all my games run on high at 1920x1080. Half-Life 2 Episode 2 gets about 60FPS and TF2 gets ~40.

Nothing much, but I did get the Opteron X2 and am now running my PC at 1920x1080! lol, kind of blurry, but most plasma's are, though still readable. I installed Ubuntu 8.04 on a 4GB Partition on my 2nd HD. Runs very quick, but it didn't like the 9600GT, so it took a while to get it working. But I got 1920x1080 to run on that too. :)

Meh, my PC's acting up so I'm using this AMD Athlon 900MHz system for now. My Opteron is soon to come anyway, so better get it working before then.

Yes, they are Server processors, but there cheap and powerful cause they can be paired up. I wish I had a dual-processor motherboard. :)

Yeah, it just stopped working when I was reapplying the heat dope. It wouldn't even work in any other of my AM2 motherboards. I didn't even touch the pins. :suspicious: Good thing I didn't trash my brisbane, or give it to someone before I got it. But I think I'll just wait until September. Then I can buy a Opteron Quad-Core. :)...(I hope), nah, I'll just get an exchange because C&C3 loved that processor.
