Hey I know you get alot of these messages. But i just got a Dell Latitude D610 from EBAY and it has a HDD password. I cant even get into windows. i tried contacting the previous owner and he gave me the wrong pass.

the gray screen says #4PAX6H2Y8UG-595B

I believe the service tag (which i see sticker on the back of laptop) is G5PNJ81 UNLESS ITS 35173936657 NOT SURE. There are both on the sticker.

THis is all the information i have. If you need anything else plz contact me. i want to gift this to my daughter for her birthday on Nov. 24...

I have this D830 with a password protected HDD and BIOS. I have the following service tags:
7K5643J-595B and the HDD tag is 30VT7725DVH-595B

I got this laptop from my dad's work, but they say they don't have it anymore and the Dell support-desk says i'm not the right owner:S So your like my only hope on this.

Could you help me out or give me some tips. I would be very gratefull!

I did buy a used Dell Latitude D620 for my friends birthday. And it's locked ! It's service tag is 46V2T2J-595B and I can't find any solution for my problem. On ebay there are lots of guys, selling the bios passwords, but I don't have money (50€) for that as I was buying the best laptop my money could buy.


Hoping so much you can help me - I don't know whome else to ask.

Hey rustam_, _PLEASE_ help me... you'r my last and only chance...
a friend bought a D610 and came to me telling i have to remove the password and install m$.

i thought: nothing easyer than that, removed the bios-battery on the back and was quite shocked when the gray-screen still appeared...
I then realized this was not the bios-password, it was the HDD-Lock. Removing the HDD to gain access to boot-CD failed (no way to configurate Bios). So im not able to install anything... expect i would buy a new HDD or destroy the computer during chip-shorting.

Please, dear rustam.... help me :-) this would be cool and my friend would hug you a lot =)
