0xc000005 IE6 Error on Win 2000

I have encountered an error after I did a clean install of Win 2000. Everytime I open IE it generates an error 0xc0000005. I have searched the different fourms and it appears the Microsoft has/had a fix but it is not available in the download center. The fix was KB240023. I can run the windows updates fine. I did download SP4 and all available updates.

Any help would be great!

I realized that my video card had crapped out. I replaced my video card and everything is once again fine.
