1/2 Height PCI car in full height system

How can I fit a 1/2 height PCI card to a system with only full-height bays? is this impossible?

    versus this...?

If so, yes. The PCB is smaller, but the actual connectors and the backplate remain the same dimensions.

no, i'll get photos. It has a SMALLER back plate

Are you sure it's not a CNR or AMR slot card?

its PCI, as when i unscrewed the bracket, it slotted in annd workerd.

but just having it loose is not an option, it needs to be fixed in

Is the only problem just the backplate being too short? If so, I have run in to this with modems in the past and was able to fix it by changing the plate with another one. If you don't have a bunch of old cards to compare it with though, you might have a difficult time finding a match. You could however modify the holes in one to make it work with that card.
