1 or more additional monitors - how??

  1. How would i go about adding a a desktop pc, which i dont have yet so i cant tell you any video deatails etc which i fuigre could be aproblem? i was just wondering and im sure its been posted before but how would i go about connecting say, 2 17" TFT monitors to the desktop? would it be easy?

    If you have/get a card that supports two monitors, it's no problem. You just connect both to the card, setup the way you want it to be displayed(clone, extend desktop, etc.), and it should work. I've used nvida cards to do this, but ati cards can do it as well. Some cards have a dvi port and an analog port. In that case you'd need a dvi to analog(vga) converter to have 2 crts.

    Or just get a cheap PCI video card and add it to your system..
