  1. Is it ok to use the same XP OS in 2 differant computers? I have one disk that I bought OEM to upgrade from 2K And I am going to build my first box so I won't have to fight the kids for the 1 we have! How many systems can I install that XP disk on to. BTW both will be on the net.

Well, I'll just say that you can only put one XP os on one computer and leave it at that.

If you have a standard license (Im quite sure you do, otherwise you'd know you didnt by the pricetag you paid), its only legal to have it running on one computer.

If you ever format your computer, you can reinstall with the same cdkey ofcourse, and call Microsoft telling them you had to format, and get a second product key that will be valid.
