1000008e - mini dump attached

Hi Guys,

Every few weeks I seem to get the computer just turning off. The last time it was writing to an external Maxtor Hard Drive when it happened, but that's not always the case.

The event log shows error 1000008e. I've included the last few mini dumps in a zip file. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Four of the dumps have memory errors, and this is a sign of faulty RAM. Run Memtest to test the RAM.

I'll run memtest. I will take me a day or so because the machine isn't with me at the moment.
