2.0v memory in 2.5v m/b

What are the ramifications (no pun intended) of using memory sticks rated at 2.0 volts on a motherboard that is rated at 2.5 volts?

I wouldn't do it

Follow the mbd Manual directions.
Try it if you want though i see no purpose.

The only purpose here was that I was sent the wrong memory resulting in receiving a 2.0v instead of 2.5. They were both 1 gb. I did install one but saw an actual slowdown in speed compared to the 512 total that I now am using.

Guess I will return them and get the correct ones..
