2 Day Flash Drive die, help needed please

  1. Hello people, this is my first post so be nice with me :) .

2 days passed when I bought a usb flash drive (2gb)
I tried to make it bootable and play with it (multiple stuff to boot
like ubcd, bartpe and linux - but I didnt make it) etc.
When I tried to format it with ITS OWN software (something like HP's tool)
I got an error like : CFG Table not found and my only option : Close.

When I closed it I saw my litle flash in My Computer as a 8MB drive.
Oups, something's gone bad I thought and I tried to format it.
First I was curious to see what's inside these 8MB.
When tried to access it I got the message "this device need format etc..."
Ok, lets format this, when formatting I get an error : Windows cannot format
    this device blah blah blah...

I downloaded the hp tool and then the same. It recognised it as a 8mb
flash device and again it couldnt format it.

I dont know much about flash drives (yet) but I think it has to do
something with this CFG table or something.

So, I was wondering if there is any editor/tool/application that handles
Flash Drives (like Acronis Disk Suite, Partition Magic etc)
to see if there is a chance to bring my brand new flash in live again...

    Regards,
    Chris
