Hi,

I have about a £1000 to play with for my new pc.Here's what i have picked out.

MB,CPU,Memory bundle:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-003-OK&groupid=701&catid=339&subcat=791
PSU:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-018-OC&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=148
Graphics card:http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130449
Case:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-065-AN
hard drive:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-077-SE

Please could someone tell me if these parts are all decent for the money & if there okay together & what cooling system i'll need...oh & will i be able to install another 8800GTX when i can afford it to go SLI (whateverthatmeans)

Thanks.

This is a better deal on the PSU. Also, this is a better deal on the hard drive. The rest is fine and it'll work together okay. Get a decent HSF for the CPU like a Freezer 7 Pro and you should be okay.

SLI (whateverthatmeans)

SLI just stands for (scalable link interface), and was developed by Nividia for linking two (or more) video cards together to produce a single output.

Hope this is abit of help to you.

Regards Jase :)

Well ebuyer delivered my 8800GTX next day as promised,But overclockers let me down.
So I'll have to wait till Monday for the rest.A whole weekend staring at my 8800GTX. :(

First & last time I'll be using overclockers me thinks...Lazy bums.

Overclockers are very good. I've never had a problem and always have next day delivery if my order is before 3.

Well..the rest arrived on Tuesday, just got it going now & its running sweet :)
3dmark06 score around 12000 running at 1360 by 768 with no overclocking.
Not too sure about the GPU temp though..ntune has it running at around 60C idle,i haven't seen it go over 70C though after a gaming session.
Is this anything to be worried about ?
