  1. After reading one of your main posts "repair\format", I decided to clean my computer.

I have AVG on my computer that states that I haver "no threats" but during the scan, it marked the file "kernel32.dll" as a changed file.

on the other hand ZoneAlarm has found 3 threats all classified as viruses -

    not-a-virus:adware.win32.virtumonde.jp
    trojan.win32.dialer.qn
    trojan-downloader.win32.loadadv.gen

    how do I remove them?

    thank you

    Julia.

PS - my english is not so good since it isn't my mother language so don't be mad if I ask something twice :)

Hi there Julia and welcome to TechSpot!

Please read the Viruses/spyware/malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, ComboFix, and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above. Also post here the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

    Regards :)

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about you - I just haven't had the time to do all of the steps. I'll be done soon.

    Thanks again!
