4 instances of Microsoft Edge

Can someone help me fix this?

I only have one tab open for Microsoft edge, but in task manager it shows that 4 instances of Microsoft edge are running and if you know how to disable Cortana that would also be appreciated, thanks!

Nothing to worry about. Chrom* based web browsers have the same feature. It adds extra protection to the application, to help prevent application breakdowns.
