478 Mobo w/775 P4?

  1. I was just reading the back of my mobo case, and it says, "Supports LGA775 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Precessor with HT Technology." What????? It can take a 775 socket processor? Mobo - ECS P4m800Pro

    Well, that must be a typo. There is no way that socket 478 could support a LGA775 processor (because the with LGA775, the pins are on the mobo not the processor) but there are P4s with HT for socket 478... so that must be what they meant.
