5.1 creative audigy problems

    Suddently the soround set stopped working properly, the music works poorly and sounds like crap with squeeking noices when i turn the volume down, when i turn it up all the sound starts coming from the base.
    I have no idea whats wrong, have i broken my soround set ? :dead:

    you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the soundcard, using more recent drivers (if available). what, if anything, has changed before the problem occurred? you could also be facing a shoddy speaker system, psu, mobo, or soundcard.
