I have been hearing mixed messages, are they out yet or not? If so can someone provide me a link to some information on one/them? It's amazing the rate at which technology is upgrading these days.

Holy hell, 512 Cards!! My life is complete, thanks Howard.

EDIT: Umm, how substantial is the difference in the jump from 256? Thanks

The jump from 256 to 512 will not be substantial for most games on the market.

There are a few rare situations currently where this can be a plus... EverquestII with it's "Maximum" texture detail, for example, will exceed 256mb of vram. Users with very large/high-resolution monitor users may also see some improvements if playing with high-degrees of antialiasing (say like 2536x1900 with 4/6x AA in a game with heavy texturing).

Ive read 3 reviews of 512mb cards and they were all negative. It will be several years before games will need that much RAM on a card.
