  1. Greetings all . . .

I am new to this form of communication, so please have patience with me!

I am trying to locate and install SATA drivers for the new 64-bit Windows XP Pro. I have been to the nvidia website, downloaded the 64-bit driver file, but there is no guidance on how to make the floppy disk so that when the Windows installation program says "press F6" the correct driver is installed.

Can anyone help me please? :approve:

My machine has a Gigabyte motherboard, AMD Athlon FX-51 processor and 2GB RAM, and two 150GB SATA drives (which work perfectly with the current 32-bit Windows XP Pro).

    welcome

    Hello, welcome steam wickles.
Which Gigabyte board do you have?
Are the Sata connections on board?
Then the drivers should come with CD-rom from the board.

Just copy the drivers files to the root of the floppy. Just get a blank floppy and drag & drop the files in Windows Explorer.
