64 Bit WIndows Faster than 32 Bit Windows?

  1. Would running Windows XP 32 Bit, on a system that can support Windows 64 Bit edition, run slower or give problems?

    Short answer: No and no.

    A bit longer answer: Some applications have 64-bit versions that are actually a bit faster than 32-bit ones. 32-bit XP should have much less problems with drivers for things like webcams, or old applications that have 16-bit installers etc.
