I have an ASUS motherboard with nVidia 650i chipset, and I wanted to know if it's possible for me to use an ATI Video card (PCI Express x16).

I was told by "Tedster" that video cards are generally not dependent on chipsets, and that's what I've heard before. However, I wanted to see if anyone has personally used an ATI video card with a nVidia chipset before I drop $150 on a card.

Yes. Just be sure you download the driver from ATI, then disable the driver on the board as you install.
