    A challage to build a budget gaming pc

    He is an idea I thought would be a challage for some. Make a budget gaming system for under $300. Thats what I am working on right now. So far I am under buget with some decent parts. Maybe not top of the line but usable for mild gaming.

    are semperons good for mild gaming

    I am trying to build a budget pc using the semperon, 512mb of ram and 128mb 275mhz graphics card. I just wanted to know if this setup would play most games out today like ut 2004, underground 2, half life 2, swat 4 on decent performance settings.

    I have an Athlon XP 2500+. Works great for me on Doom 3 with a NVIDIA (128MB) FX5500 card. I have 1.5 gigs of onboard memory. :)
