  1. hi from australia

i want to say i LOVE my pc...i discovered how to use a pc through a business course learning Office2000 and my eyes were opened and i haven't looked back. while i'm currently doing admin i would much prefer to be actually working in IT hehe. i'm a bit of an odd one in my family being a girl who's completely in love with anything tech.

i quickly begged borrowed to get my own pc (amd athlon xp 1.7) built, which was about 4 years ago now and have been contently playing with it and slowly adding to it since....i'm always learning and easily admit i'm still a newb with much of my learning being in how to do what i want on my pc like how to format it and make it personal to me etc. i know enough to show my mum and neighbour etc how to use the pc and to troubleshoot some of their basic problems, and when problems occur with my own pc i tend to read a lot and work out how to fix it without taking it to a shop.

been having quite a few issues lately though, seems to be running into hardware issues now which is very alien territory to me which is why i'm now at these boards. which hopefully i'll have figured out soon

i'd love to build a new pc but no funds alas so must make do

    cheers
