A new issue no ones seen before??!!

ok so i have a custom built computer and my video card is a MSI NX7800 GT and its running a Dell 3007 WFP and worked great for me. But the other day i upgraded to vista ultimate, and now my screen flashes and flickers horizontal lines all the time and sometimes the screen color gets completely off that i cant see my desktop. i noticed in some situations that the flashing only occurs when i open internet explorer and at other times it just happens.
It flashes so fast that this is the best picture i could get, but you can also see that the left side is very dark as well.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME IM ABOUT TO JUST BUY A NEW VIDEO CARD.

have you updated with the latest driver?

you will see your card is compatible with this download about 3/4 of the way down of supported cards

that didnt work. i tried the upgrade and its meant for xp. the issue only occurs on different times. for example right now the screen is fine, but it might start flashing badly later. i might have to buy a new video card

yea i tried that patch numerous times. doesnt fix the issue either. im running out of ideas except that maybe i just need to buy a new card.

have you tried uninstalling the drivers and then taking out and putting back in the video card and reinstalling the drivers again-it may be a long shot but i would give it a go
