Hello everyone
I have a question that i'm hopeing someone can answer.
i have 4 desktops 2 running xp and 2 running w2k
and I also have a dell laptop running w2k
I have sucsesfully conected 2 routers togeter a linksys befsr41
and a network everywhere wireless b nwr11b they will alow me to conect to the internet but my network places won't see the comps on the other router it only show the ones hook up to that router is there any way to fix this the network anywhere is the main router and the linksys is plugd into the #4 port of the n.e.
and not the uplink or the wan jacks. I need the other router because I will soon have a server setup and lets face it I like yanking my hair out and learning new things

I thank you all in advance for any help you may offer

I think you got to disable dhcp on linksys
but I have not worked with a system that shared router to router just router to switch and or hubs
are you using dynamic IP's or static IP's
I don't use my server as a gateway and by the way XP will take command of system and it wants to be the domain controller ,got to shut off some service;darn I can't remember witch one, something to do with network security?

I have had a similar problem and found that disabling Windows Firewall fixed it. If you have SP2 on XP you don't need to worry about this as SP2 fixed this issue.
