A series of bluescreens followed by strange looking windows

  1. It all began with my efforts to remove Winfixer, I was trying various suggestions and may have tweaked something I shouldn't have. I had a series of bluescreen incidents and now windows looks "weird" in that my taskbar is white and all the icons are bigger and sort of blurry. As you can tell from my problem description, I am not too computer savvy...does this problem sound familiar to anyone???

    Hi

Did you run antivirus? I once got a virus that made all my icons bigger and things looked wierd too. It also made applications sluggish and close for no reason. That was back in the day though when I didn't have antivirus. Try the basics: run antivirus, an adware detector/remover, clear your cookies and temperary internet files. If it wont let you do those things, maybe try to system restore. Good luck!
