I have a A7V333 mobo and im trying to overclock it, but reached a limit at 12,5 times my bios dont accept higher multiplier.

ive heard its posible to get around that to get it to accept an even higher multiplier but how ?

My CPU is a 1900+ athlon XP

    default bios settings
    12,0*133 = 1598 MHz

    currently running :
    12,0*147 = 1762 MHz

cant go ne higher without crashing windows XP.

You won't be able to overclock your Athlon XP until its unlocked. The options to overclock are already there in the BIOS - and on he board itself - they just won't do anything until your CPU is unlocked.
Try searching the web for a guide on how to unlock it...

Thx .. i know how to overclock it but whouldnt do it until i was sure there where more options than there is now ..

but from what ur saying there whould be more after the chip is unlocked.
just thought that the multiplier where bios depending .. not CPU depending .

    so Thx for ur help
