A7V8X Max Out.

HI there,

can anyone tell me what is the fastest/best cpu i can put onto this motherboard:

Asus A7V8X

It mentioned something about being thoroughbred core ready etc.. does that mean an XP3200+ Barton core won't work???

According to asus's support pages, your motherboard will take the fastest 333Mhz FSB Barton core CPU.

Athlon XP 3000+(333 MHZ FSB)(Model 10)(Barton)

Be careful when you shop, there is also a 400Mhz Athlon XP 3000+ (Barton Core). You want a 333Mhz FSB model.
