Abiword and vista

Does anyone know if it is possible to get Abiword to function within the vista OS? I have been trying for awhile and can't get it to work!

I couldn't find anything on their website saying that it was compatible. But if you are interested, I know Open Office works with Vista very well. Looks pretty much like MS Office. You may want to check it out as well.
