ac adapter for laptop gets hot

    I bought a laptop and would like to know if you could damage the battery if you always use your laptop plugged in to house electric. Should you take the battery out if you use it this way? I notice when I use the ac adapter that it gets pretty warm, is this normal? thanks.

    This is perfectly fine if it heats up (pretty hot) no problem can occure from this.

    your AC adapter should normally get hot - but not so hot to burn your hand.
