i recently installed windows 2000 professional on a reasonale speck pc i built, and everything except from installing the sound driver has gone fine!
i downloaded a recent ac97 driver that is compatable with 2k, and began to install it, however about halfway through install a message comes up complaining that the driver does not have a digital signiture from microsoft. i click ok to continue, but after a few more seconds the pc restarts, and the driver instalation does not complete!!!
i have tried different driver versions
any helpful comments appriciated!
