    I Am Unable To Get Sound From My Speakers. When I Try To Adjust The Volume I Get The Message "there Are No Active Mixer Devices Available. I Have A Gateway 838gm Computer And The Sound Was Ok. I Have Not Done Anything To Cause Problems!

    Can Anyone Tell Me What To Do?

    The first thing you should try is reinstalling your sound drivers.
