I'm really not sure where to put this, so apologies if this is in the wrong place...

Occasionally when I go on a website I get a prompt to either enable an activex control or not. Whether I click on 'yes' or 'no', without fail I will receive an error message telling me that, sorry for the inconvenience, but Internet Explorer must close down now.

It is extremely annoying, and I cannot seem to fix it no matter what I do. It means I can't visit certain websites, and when I do I have to avoid certain area unless I want the page to close automatically.

Has anyone else had this problem? And if you have and have managed to fix it, could you please tell me how??

Thanks in advance!

Well, I had this error before, but it was fixed until I reinstalled IE. Try IE7.

Or even better, download FireFox 2.0. It's way better than IE, safer & faster.
