Ad-Aware problem

Im still doing the 15 step thing and I started running Ad-Aware and everytime it gets stuck on the end and i cant stop scanning or anything and by that time im already frustrated cause it takes almost 3 hours for it to scan. I thought it was a one time mistake so i ran it again and it still got stuck. Can anyone help me?

did you temporarily disable real-time monitoring programmes, as it said in step 1? that means antivirus as well as antispyware, because antivirus programmes have a mix of virus, spyware, and riskware that they scan for.

Skip that step. It is just one more swipe at the bug that's biting. Move on.
