I have been getting the ad.firstadsolution popup for about 2 weeks, and i cannot find a way to disable it.

I think you have seen this issue before, and there are similar threads like:
https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic61422.html
https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic58110.html

I have downloaded and installed adaware, spybot search and destroy, avg and i have run them all in safe mode with restore disabled.

I have also tried to follow your instructions on 'Trojan Pakes and other nasties, preliminary removal instructions', and it did not remove the pop up. I looked at the other help threads, and nothing on the preliminary troubleshooting helped as well.

Can you please take a look at my HJT and see if i can do anything to disable it further?

Thank You,
Grayson Smart

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall anything to do with(if there).

Fantastic Flame Screensaver

Close control panel.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

FantasticFlameAgent.exe
Ooze close.exe
nurb seek keep.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=gen

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=gen

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [admincakenewsoftware] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WaitBowsAdminCake\Ooze close.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [anticool] C:\DOCUME~1\Grayson\APPLIC~1\UPHTMR~1\nurb seek keep.exe

O4 - Global Startup: Fantastic Flame Agent.lnk = C:\Program Files\Fantastic Flame Screensaver\FantasticFlameAgent.exe

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or directories(if there).

C:\Program Files\Fantastic Flame Screensaver
C:\DOCUME~1\Grayson\APPLIC~1\UPHTMR~1\nurb seek keep.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WaitBowsAdminCake\Ooze close.exe

Reboot into normal mode, turn system restore back on and rehide your protected OS files.

Post a fresh HJT log and let me know how your system is running.
