Add/Remove Programs error

I'm currently using windows XP sp2. I wanted to uninstall some of programs i seldom use. I go to Control Panel>>Add/Remove Programs, but whenever I click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon, it gives me an error. The error mentioned:

"Parser Message" (subject line)
Value creation failed " at line 521

This never happened before. The last things i installed are StyleXP, LogonStudio, BlueJ, and Netbeans. Could there be any problem with those software?

it's possible you have some malicious software there. for what reasons did you install said softwares? does the pc have any protective software?

I use McAfee to scan for virus and there is no virus detected. My sis installed StyleXP few days ago and she got the same prob. So i suspect, its the StyleXP that causes me the error. I juz uninstalled StyleXP from Start menu and i can use Add/Remove Programs menu again now.
Thanks for ur help :)

open it from start, run...... type "control appwiz.cpl" without the quotes.... see how you get on.

if it opens, uninstall any cr@p and then run spyware check.
