I am attempting to add a DSL gateway to an existing peer-to-peer network. The peer-to-peer network is cabled together via a switch. The gateway consists of a dsl modem/router. Is there a simple way to cable the gateway to the switch? The gateway is Westell Vesalink Model 327W15-06.

Thanks,

Signed- This is all greek to me.

Yes, just put a crossover ethernet cable between the switch and the router's LAN port.

You may have to reconfigure the IP settings on the computers so that they would match the router's LAN settings. (Or reconfigure the router's LAN to match your existing one.)
