When I restart/turn on my computer and log in, after about 30 seconds, an error message pops up that there is something wrong with the win32 on my computer. The only thing that actually changes is that the windows randomly change their outline from the windows xp look to the windows classic look so im afraid i may have a virus. however, i havent been able to find anything wrong with the threads
please help!!!

more precisely, the error message is:
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close.
there is an error signature of
szAppName : svchost.exe szAppVer : 5.1.2600.2180 szModName : wuaueng.dll

i downloaded some vidx software a while ago and that might be the problem...

That log looks clean to me. However I'd advise you to update your HijackThis version.

As for your problem,

Since the issue lies with system files and your problem doesn't appear to be malware related, I suggest a system restore.

Somebody else might offer a better solution though; I'm not sure what could be the cause.

Regards,
momok
