Have you tried uninstalling AIM and then re-installing it (with a reboot inbetween)?

Without telling us what 'almost everything' the best we can do is just toss up suggestions in a very inefficient way.

Yes, I tried to uninstall aim, reboot, reinstall, no go. Ran numerous scans tried to send a bug report to aim but nobody replies. I really do not know that much about computers so this is driving me crazy. Do you have any more ideas? Thanx

This won't 'fix' your problem, but you could try using trillion, as it just combines AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, etc. into one program. I would suggest that.

aim

Thank you so much for your help. This is great. At least my kid's can now talk to their friends and leave me alone about how they cannot use aim.

Thanx again for all your help!!! :giddy:
