All i can see if my back ground! (differt comp)

When i get on my computer i can see all my shortcuts for like 5 secs then all i see is my back ground.

boot into safe mode, run a program like crap cleaner registry repair.

OR run windows CHKDSK. open my computer. Right click on your hard drive. select tools to run CHKDSK.
