Though I'll believe it when I see it!

In 1998 one of the major newspapers in Norway did a story on non-volatile memory, and how it would be released by the end of the year (according to the scientists)...

We're now in 2003 and we're still waiting...

I remember I read a rather interested article on 3 dimensional data crystals, and how they would be mainstream in 2005. This was back in 1999.


Also, they said Serial ATA was going to be out "next year"... Well, it's good to see it NOW, I suppose.
