Allowing Flash 6 to open Flash 8?

Is there a way (program/addon, etc) to allow Macromedia Flash MX (Version 6) to open Flash 8 documents without buying Flash MX 2004 (Version 7)? If there isn't is there a way to convert Flash 8 (or Flash 7) documents into Flash 6 documents?

There are other Flash programs besides Adobe and Macromedia you know.. Give those a try..
