Hey all im looking into buying a new computer and i was just wondering on what system i should build it on?
Ive used intel based stuff my whole life and I really have no idea about what would be better.
Out of say a Dual Core AM2 5200 and a Core 2 Duo E6750 what would be the better option? Im building up the computer as a gaming system and im going to have these sort of specs.
    2gb Corsair ddr2 ram
    320gb wd hdd
    pioneer 18x dvd rom
    coolermaster centurion v
ive got a ps and scren
    256mb gigabyte 8600gt
or something alongs those lines for about $800-$900

So yer what would be a better choice.

I have always gone for the Intel chip because they run cooler and so don't need such noisy high speed fans.

    Well for comparable results a E6700 hammers a X2 6000+.
If its dual core, then Intel any day.....for the timebeing at least.
