AMD adds Asus with Nvidia to assured program

    "CHIP FIRM AMD has added an Asus motherboard which uses Nforce technology to what it describes as its "stringent" AMD Assured programme.

    The firm said in a statement that firms which pass the validation tests have a guarantee that components are reliable, mobos will be available for a long time, are fully validated and can be used in commercial offerings.

    The program is a guide to system integrators, said AMD. The motherboard in question is the Asus A7N266-VM/AA board.    "
