Anytime I play Diablo 2 or any FPS after about 5 minutes my computer starts to beeeep loudly and my frames per second drop from 90 to like 5 and the games run slowly, but when I am idle on XP everything is ok with no problems. What can I do to improve my cpu cooling? Better yet is the loud beeping the actual CPU overheating? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Difficult to say, as you didn't say which mainboard and which graphics card you have.

The beeping does sound like CPU overheating - have you checked that the CPU fan works and heatsink is in place and isn't covered with dust ?

Well there is a fan and there was A LOT of dust, think if I buy a new and better heatsink not one from 2 years ago and get some thermo cream everything should be ok?

I think if you clean all that dust out, it will be much better.
