AMD poaches 60 design staff from Sun

    AMD has poached around 60 processor design staff from Sun Microsystems to set up a new design team in Boston.

    It looks like this has come about because of some cancelled projects, most notably the Sun UltraSparc V. Its expected that these designers will concentrate on mobile and server markets.
