Hey, I recently got myself an ATI Radeon 9500 and put it in with the latest drivers and so on but some games i play are buggy and flashy and suddenly starting to lag strangely. My motherboard is an nForce2 Ultra 400 (SL-75FRN2-L) with a Phoenix-Awardbios (which i cant find any updates for).
I've tried lots of things and i've come to believe that the root of the problem lies in that i cant activate smartgart. In the bios settings, agp 8x support is enabled, but when i turn smartgart on 4x or 8x it just returns to the OFF status when my computer gets back up after reboot.
It's really annoying. Cause i've asked some friends about it and they say that there should be no problem in the activation of agp in smartgart.
Please, help me to find a solution to this problem before i burn all my braincells into it for nothing.
