Hi everyone, I've done all the pre-steps, and still can't get rid of this one. Some of the popups include winthisfree, mybestindex and those sneaky ones that say "your computer is not running at its highest level," etc.
Also, this may or may not be a symptom, but occasionally when I exit out of an explorer window, the whole screen sort of reloads and the item on the desktop and taskbar disappear altogether (though the explorer windows remain, with a gap at the bottom where the taskbar should be). If you don't think this is related, please tell me and I'll post the problem in another thread.
I'll try and check in on this thread for the next couple of days, but I am working so it may be on and off.
